Dr. Pappas is a Board Certified Dermatologist with over 20 years of experience.   In his early career Dr Pappas participated in clinic research for acne, psoriasis and eczema.   His passions still focus around these medical conditions that affect so many patients. 

Born and raised in South Dakota, Dr Pappas graduated Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa from the University of South Dakota.  He then went on to attend the University of South Dakota School of Medicine from which he graduated first in his class, Sum Cum Laude, and Alpha Omega Alpha.  He completed an internship at the Mayo Clinic of Rochester, MN and finished his training in Dermatology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, IA. 

His other passion is his family. With two wonderful boys and nearly 20 years of marriage.  Dr.  Pappas enjoys motorcycles, electronics and finances.

 He also  has performed nearly 4000 Mohs surgeries and reconstructions over 2 decades.  See the Gallery.
